Finally, Summer! Next week we say goodbye to May and hello to June! Summer!!! As I think everyone know, this also means that the World Cup is starting but it’s also exam month and coming home month! Yay! 😀 I’m glad my exam is coming up soon but I’m also nervous. But I’m happier that just after that I get to visit home!!! Feels strange to say “visit home” and “live here”.
Anyway, I want to show everyone just how drastically the season has changes in a matter of just a few weeks. Temperatures are now sometimes a nice +25 and getting hotter. I love that I finally get to feel a hot sun on my skin, smell the grass, trees and flowers around me. I’m just very glad that I can actually see the green and colorful flowers around me! A much prettier and happier view than a dark gray, white and extremely cold winter day’s view. Hopefully I’ll come home with a little darker complexion as that of my winter one, otherwise I’ll blend into white walls and you might lose sight of me! 😀

I must say, although my summer here will be short lived as I return home to a South African winter, I’m still looking forward because while I was getting cold here I didn’t have that special someone to hold me to keep me warm. 😀 I miss the special people in life at home! Some might say that it could still feel like summer to me in comparison to a Russian winter, which could be true, but in a few weeks, I’ll adjust to the climate and the cold will get to me too. But I’m still so excited to come home!!!
Unfortunately with my exam coming up, my attention is on my study work and all the things I need to get done which means that this will be a really short post, but you do not want to miss next week’s! Why??? I went to Cirque du Soleil yesterday and Ooooh boy was it amazing!!! Guess you will have to wait for next week’s post to find out all about it. Keep an eye on my social media for some photos. 😀
