Yes! Finally!!! I’ve survived my first semester of degree studies in Russia! Lectures, seminars, tests and exams passed! From subjects like Russian History, Art history, psychology, to name a few and also dance subjects. (Ballet, choreography, folk, etc.) I can now write an update blog post as I have a week off and on the 4th of February the second semester starts. Wow, and in just a few months that will also be over and my 1st year (technically 2nd) will be over!
So, there’s a lot that happened in the last few months since I’ve last posted. The truth is I can’t even remember everything to tell you so instead I’ll show you through some pictures and tell the stories in that way.
My friend (classmate and roomy) went to watch some theater.
As well as with another classmate.
Then Christmas season came and the city turned into a city of lights.
These are still up!
Then to end the year we performed the Tartar ballet: Shurale.
Soon after I got on plane and headed home in time for new year!
First got the catch up with my best friend…
Spent time with family.
And then sadly I had to get on a plane to come and finish this semester by passing the exam session (January).
But it all ended well, I have a week “holiday” and now I can finally catch up on some sleep and do things I never usually have time for. Like going to the movies, learn to ski (I hope I get to try it…that’s the plan), and just doing whatever, whenever.
I know I never post much anymore, but I hope everyone understand. Just know that I do not plan on leaving the blog (website) because although I don’t have much time for it now, I have a lot of plans for it! Thank you to everyone who supports me and my journey. I am so very grateful for every single one of you and can’t even begin to say thank you enough!
May everyone have a blessed week ahead and also…..HAPPY 2019!!!
To live is to Dance
xoxo
Bonus: Some photos of ballet class.
